A season...

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance...
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

When you look at this stone try not to ask God why Marie's time was so short... instead praise Him for how long Marie was here in our arms.  There was a time that Luke and I worried that she wouldn't see her first birthday, instead she had two of them.  There was a time that her personality was gone, lost in a haze of medications.  We put her into His hands and the right doctor was found and God gave Marie back to us in all of her naughty, silly, sweet glory.  We were given a beautiful summer, and while this is a season for mourning, Marie can finally dance...

From afar, I've watched your little ones grow, smile, laugh, cry, and be called to the most wonderful place...Home. To you and Luke, words aren't enough to thank you for your strength, love, and most of all...faith! You and your family are an inspiration! I continue to read, pray, and pass along your message to my friends. Have a Blessed Christmas and New Year.

Marie's memorial site is a wonderful tribute. I can't wait until Meg's stone comes in. Although it's something no one wants to buy for their child, there is comfort to me in showing others know how special our angel continues to be in our hearts.
